There is no painting that does not identify me.
Every painting is a piece of me.
In every work I am communicating, I am screaming, expressing anger, pain, happiness, enthusiasm, insecurity, beauty and truth. The sea is life and the waves are passages, movement, change.
The brush is the means that allows me to impress on canvas what comes from the heart, it is a tool, together with the spatula or bare fingers, that allows me to communicate a state of mind.
Giant waves that sweep away sadness, material traits that want to represent the concreteness of the moment, small repeated movements that convey serenity and concentration and choices of colors that come from within.
The sea is the subject that allows my soul to make continuous journeys.
Painting is peace to inner torment and a moment in which I feel privileged because I am able to express myself.
When the painting is read, interpreted and felt, when it becomes someone else’s, when it evokes the sensations that are being felt, then I can finally give true meaning to what I do.
