Our items are all ready to ship. Once ordered and paid for, we pull it and pack it for shipping either same day or next business day.

Are your packing materials ecofriendly?

Yes, mostly. We are replacing more of our packing materials to sustainable and/or recycled products. We use starch peanuts which are environmentally friendly and dissolve easily with water. Most of our polymailers are either compostable or made from recycled materials. Our boxes are post-consumer recyclable. We are continuing to source more green packing materials that are economical. We have a high standard and we want to ensure that the materials we use will keep your packages safe in transit.

What about shipping insurance to make sure my item arrives safely?

We have you covered! You, as the buyer, do not have to buy shipping insurance. We are responsible for getting your item safely to you. Every single item we sell is covered and we will make the claim, if necessary. No worries. We carefully pack and haven't had a claim in over a year but sometimes packages do get damaged in transit and we will take care of that for you. If you receive an item damaged in transit contact us as soon as you can and keep the item (and packaging). We may need photos for claim submittal and sometimes (rarely but it does happen), the USPS may ask you to take the package to them for inspection.

Why don't we have 'free' shipping? & Local Pickup

By using calculated shipping and only charging the actual shipping charge we believe it's a fair way for everyone and especially for our customers outside the US. The closer you are to us the less the shipping usually is. Local pickup in the Peoria Illinois area is always an option. Send us a message and we can work something out.

Easy no-hassle returns

We have easy hassle-free returns for ALL of our products for any reason. We want you to have a wonderful experience here on Etsy and if you aren't happy with the item once you get it, for any reason, contact us and we will help you get a return started. We will provide you a pre-paid label and once we receive the item back you will receive a refund of purchase price of item (not including original shipping). Overall this is the same as (or better than) Etsy's policy - instead of having you pay for the label up front we provide you the free return shipping label. You receive a refund for item safely returned (original shipping is not refunded). Essentially we have FREE returns.

Cancellations & Returns

As much as we want to sell you our items we do accept cancellations. Send us a message as soon as you can. We do try to ship same day but if it has not been shipped we will cancel right away & do a 100% refund. If the item has shipped, we ask you to refuse the delivery and when it is returned your refund will be processed for item price (not including original shipping).

If you have a question about anything in our shop please message us. We try to have complete info in our listings but perhaps we didn't address your questions and no one likes to have to wait for answers. We have Etsy messages on our mobile devices so that we can answer you quickly.

Shipping: Choices, Prices & Combined Shipping

We do have the option to ship UPS and sometimes that is cheaper than Priority Mail. Message us with your zip code and we can get a price for you. Sometimes multiple item orders calculate the shipping too high or it doesn't combine them at all. DON'T WORRY! We always try to ship it at the lowest cost possible (at the speed you chose or faster). Sometimes we can combine items and save money but other times it is cheaper to ship them separately.

What if the book your purchase is in worse condition than I expected or smells bad?

First of all, we are SO sorry if this happens to you but if you aren't happy just contact us to start a hassle-free return. Some of our books are very old and/or were stored improperly which put in the item description when applicable. We use a product recommended by libraries for removing odor (not masking the odor) and an ozone machine. If a book needs cleaned it will sit with the odor remover for at least a week. Sometimes we just can't get 100% of odors out of books. We take returns on ALL items, everyone has different levels of sensitivity and if an odor from a book bothers you please contact us right away and we will take care of it for you.

This is a preowned classic vintage Kenmore electric can opener and knife sharpener combination unit by Sears. This durable countertop appliance features a sturdy cream-colored body with chrome accents, offering both functionality and a touch of retro charm to your kitchen. It is older and has some signs of use and age; there is light rust on the opener part and some of the chrome has light pitting.
There is some finish loss - see photos.
The cord is retractable - see photos. I couldn't get it completely inside the can opener but I also didn't push really hard.
