Where do you ship from, and are customs duties covered?

We offer domestic shipping within both the USA and Canada. To ensure fast and seamless delivery, all orders for USA purchases are shipped directly from our warehouses located within the USA. For any shipments that do cross the border, all customs duties and import taxes are fully covered by our shop. You will never face unexpected fees upon delivery! Yes, absolutely! Every single rug is professionally hand-washed and carefully inspected before being listed. We also perform a rigorous final inspection right before packaging. On very rare occasions, if we notice a rug has picked up any minor dust or dirt while resting in our warehouse we will contact you to let you know, and we will take it through another full round of professional washing before shipping it out. We want to ensure your piece arrives completely pristine, clean, and ready for your home.

What condition are the rugs in, and are they one-of-a-kind?

Yes! Every piece in our collection is a completely unique and authentic, mostly vintage or antique work of art. Because these vintage and antique rugs have a rich history, they may display minor, charming wear or natural color variations (abrash) that add to their soulful, rustic character. We personally curate and inspect every item to ensure its structural integrity and beauty.

How should I clean and maintain my vintage rug or kilim?

Natural wool rugs are incredibly durable and inherently stain-resistant. For regular maintenance, vacuum your rug gently using a suction-only setting.
