What: A fantastic diamond + seed pearl ring!

Why We Love It: We love the design of this ring. Three starset seed pearls each in their own panel, separated by a vertical row of sparkling diamonds! Incredibly crisp full British hallmarks is another favorite feature!

Era: Victorian/c. late 1800’s

Metal: 9K Gold (the head of the ring is more yellow and the shank is more rose)

Size: 7 US on my mandrel, but can possibly be resized within reason. If you are interested in having a ring resized, please reach out prior to purchase and a quote will be provided. Otherwise, it is recommended that you bring it to your local jeweler for accurate resizing. All rings are measured with an industry standard True Size mandrel. Marking: British Hallmarks as follows:
- Crown 375: 9K Gold
- Anchor: Assayed in Birmingham
- Date Letter Q: 1890
- Maker’s Mark: A.E.G & C.

Measurements: Measures 5.64mm at the head of the ring and tapers to 2.89mm at the sizing area.

Weight: 1.9 grams

Condition: Good antique condition. The ring has been cleaned, but not polished in efforts to retain patina. There is evidence that the ring has previously been resized, with a darker mark on both the inside and outside of the shank near the sizing area. The four diamonds are not original to the ring. The seed pearls were already set upon being sourced, with one being more silvery gray in color than the others. Please see all photos and video and ask any questions prior to purchase. Resizing: Betty & Belle's is happy to offer resizing services. This includes, but is not limited to, rings being sized up or down, chains being shortened, etc. Because resizing requires the application of heat, natural chemical reactions on the surface of the metal can occur. If the piece needs to be polished to restore an even finish, this can result in a reduction, or loss, of original patina. The utmost care is always be taken; however, this is an inherent risk when performing work on vintage or antique jewelry. Please note altered items are a final sale.

Polishing: If you would like the item polished, please reach out prior to purchase and a quote will be provided. Please be mindful that polished pieces are considered a final sale.

Authenticity: Each piece is hand selected and sourced by Betty & Belle’s. We do our very best to provide accurate descriptions and photos. Please view all photos and video and ask any questions prior to purchasing. Unless clearly stated, gemstones have not been graded for color, clarity, treatment, origin, etc. by a GIA GG. All metals are tested with a KEE Gold tester and all markings will be clearly stated. Please keep in mind that all pieces are vintage/antique and signs of cosmetic wear commensurate with age are to be expected.

Shipping: All items will be shipped fully insured. Orders over $1000 will require signature upon delivery, which is non-negotiable. Failure to pick up a parcel from the post office/annex point and results in the item being sent back to the shop will receive a full refund (given item is in exact condition in which it was shipped) less a 15% restocking fee and the cost of shipping. For items that get lost due to failure to pick up from the post office, a refund will only be provided once Betty & Belle's successfully receives funds from an insurance claim to cover the loss of the item.

Return Policy: We want you to love your new (to you!) vintage treasure as much as we do, but we understand that sometimes things just don’t work out! If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have three (3) days from the date of delivery to contact Betty & Belle’s to initiate a return for a full refund to the original form of payment. Item must be returned in the original condition with original box, and unworn. Please do not remove the price tag unless you are absolutely certain you wish to keep your item. If the price tag is removed, and the item is returned, there will be a 15% restocking fee. Items that have been altered in any way (e.g. resized, polished, stone damage, etc.) are not eligible for returns. When shipping back we highly recommended that you fully insure the item, as well as use a trackable shipping method with signature upon delivery. Betty & Belle's cannot be held responsible for lost, non-delivered, misdelivered, and/or damaged items during shipping. Should the aforementioned occur, the buyer is not eligible for a refund and will be advised to pursue a claim with whom they insured the package. If we sent you the incorrect item by mistake, a return label will be provided to you. Otherwise, all fees related to shipping back the item is the responsibility of the buyer. Returned item must be postmarked and in the possession of the carrier of your choice within five (5) business days of requesting the return. Saturdays count as a day, as mail carriers are open for business; however, bank holidays when mail carriers are closed do not count. Upon receipt of the item, any loss in value to the item is the responsibility of the buyer. Refunds will not be issued until the item has been successfully delivered to Betty & Belle's. Items that we resize (or alter) for you upon your request, purchased during storewide sales, denoted as 'sale' in the individual listing, accepted offers below original list price and/or during an in person selling event (e.g. market, pop-up, etc.) are final sale.

Care & Maintenance: It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that they engage in regular care and maintenance of their purchase. As with all jewelry, it is recommended that pieces not be worn in chlorine, in the shower, to bed, etc. Jewelry should be taken to a local trusted jeweler at least every six months for proper cleaning and to ensure prongs/settings are secure. As with all pre-owned, vintage, and antique jewelry, wear to the stones and setting commensurate with age, is to be expected and it is the responsibility of the buyer to maintain the condition of the item. Betty & Belle's is not responsible for the loss of the stone(s) and/or any damage/wear to the item after the three day return window has closed.
