Osage Thornless Blackberry Starter Plant - Superior Flavor - Easy Upright Growth

Seller's description

The Ultimate Eating Experience! Discover the Superior Flavor of Osage Thornless Blackberry. 🫐✨🚫🌵

You will receive premium Osage Blackberry starter plug (Typically 3-6" Tall). This plant ships in its bare-root state—no pot and no soil. If you believe that flavor is the most important part of gardening, the Osage was bred specifically for you. Developed by the experts at the University of Arkansas, this variety is celebrated for having a balanced, sweet, and complex flavor that sets a new bar for blackberries.

Osage is a thornless, erect variety, meaning it grows into a sturdy, upright bush that stays organized. You can enjoy a pain-free harvest of medium-sized, firm, and incredibly glossy berries that are perfect for fresh eating, smoothies, or your favorite summer desserts.

Why Osage Blackberry is a 2026 Garden Essential:
Bred for Flavor: While other varieties focus only on size, Osage was developed to provide the highest-quality "eating experience" straight from the garden.
100% Thornless: No scratches, no hassle. Safe for children and pets to enjoy the garden alongside you.
Self-Supporting Growth: Its erect habit means it grows into a neat 4–6 foot shrub that requires very little support compared to trailing varieties.
Consistent Productivity: A reliable and vigorous producer that will fill your mid-summer with sweet, juicy rewards.
Glossy & Firm: The berries don't just taste good—they look beautiful and hold their shape well after picking.
Space Efficient: With a spread of only 3–4 feet, it’s a perfect fit for smaller backyards or garden borders.

Growing Specifications:
Light: Full Sun to Partial Shade.
Soil: Thrives in moist, well-drained soil.
Hardiness: Highly adaptable and hardy (Optimized for USDA Zones 6–9).
Size: Matures at 4–6 feet tall.

🚚 Shipping & Shop Policies
Reliable & Fast Shipping:

Bare Root Policy:
These plants ship bare root with no pot. We recommend planting your Osage immediately upon arrival. Because of its upright nature, it is very easy to establish in a permanent garden spot or a large container.

“I'm still learning how to garden, so this little gem arrived as a "glob or rooted dirt" and hopefully it will grow into a grand vine of raspberries. Think green!”
