Limited to only 6 examples, Fire Lapis show’s off beautiful shimmering lab grown opal with an attainable price point. The face is all about the gorgeous colors of the opal with little opposing the sparkle. The green lumed hands are a slim sword style and no hour markers interfere with the aesthetics of the face. Different levels of light will generate varying scenes and hues from the points of color.

A simple explorer style case at 39 mm offers a substantial wrist feel an appearance without being unnecessarily bulky. While the watch is considered unisex 39 mm would appear quite large on a smaller wrist (smaller watches are planned) The bezel is polished and the lugs are brushed and each polished case back is etched with the Juxtaposed Watches brand name and is serialized from 1-6. Watches will be sent out in order they are purchased. Watches are ready to ship, this is not a pre-order. The bracelet is a solid link oyster style with deployment clasp and everything is 316L stainless steel. Bracelets will come at standard diameter with all links intact. Lug width is 20 mm. If you need the bracelet adjusted to your wrist size please let me know and I will adjust it for you.
Each watch is very special and will last a lifetime if cared for, there is no avoiding some patina appearing through wear and time.

Fire Lapis is powered by an NH38 automatic winding movement. Wearing the watch on a daily basis will keep it running. Alternatively it can be manually wound using the screw down crown. The NH38 has a 41 hour power reserve, contains 24 jewels and runs at 21,600 bph.

Each order will also come with a stained Maple watch stand by a local maker to display the watch when not being worn. It will be packed in a leather clamshell watch box with Juxtaposed Watches branding for safe shipping.
