❓ COMMON QUESTIONS
• Is the Celeron N4000 powerful enough? Absolutely. While a Celeron might struggle with modern 4K video editing, it is a powerhouse for retro gaming. For perspective, the SNES had a processor roughly 1,000x slower than this laptop, and even the N64 and PS1 ran on chips 10x less capable. Because we aren't running heavy Windows software in the background, all that power goes directly into your games.

• Is 4GB of RAM enough? More than enough. Most retro consoles used less than 5MB of RAM. Since our custom AntiX OS is incredibly lightweight, the system has plenty of "breathing room" to run 18+ different consoles smoothly without stuttering.

• Is 16GB of storage enough? Yes! Because we use an optimized, lightweight OS, you have about 7GB of dedicated free space for games. Since most retro games are only about 50MB, you can fit hundreds of titles on the internal drive alone.

• What if I want more games? You can add more storage via USB

• Does it come with games? No. To comply with Etsy policies, no ROMs are included. I provide the "engine" and the "map"—you just bring your own game files.

• Is it easy to add games? Yes! Just drag and drop your files into the pre-labeled folders on the desktop.

• What kind of controller do I need? You have total flexibility. This system works with almost any USB controller. Whether you prefer a modern Xbox or PlayStation style controller, or a classic Retro Gamepad, it is truly plug-and-play.

• How is the battery life? You can expect roughly 5 to 7 hours of continuous retro gaming. For comparison, a Steam Deck often runs out of juice in just 2 to 3 hours when playing demanding titles. This laptop is built for long road trips and flights.
