Handwoven silk, linen and tencel ivory and black scarf or wrap

Ecru silk: This is a luxury piece, handwoven with silk, linen, tencel and black tussah silk stripes. (Tencel is made from plant-based fibre.) It is very soft and drapey, and finished with a double-knotted ecru fringe. It would be perfect as a scarf or a summer/evening wrap, and has an elegant and slightly rustic feeling.

This was woven on a rigid heddle loom to my own design. My primary interest is colour and yarn rather than complex patterns. My work is almost exclusively natural fibres and therefore occasional small variations in texture or colour can occur. All length measurements include fringes or tassels. All pieces can be hand washed, laid flat to dry and given a light press.

Please note that photographs can not always capture 100% accuracy of true colour but I have used natural light for the closest match. Also, colours can vary on recipients’ screens as well as the sender’s!
