How do I download digital files?

All digital files are instant downloads. After purchasing a PDF sewing pattern for baby shoes or kidswear, you can download the file(s) directly via Etsy. Go to your Purchases and Reviews to access the download. Did you purchase as a guest? You can find the download link on the invoice sent to your email after your purchase. If you have any problems downloading, contact me and I will send the PDF file(s) for your sewing pattern directly to your email. These files are perfect for DIY sewing projects, handmade kidswear, or creating handmade baby shoes.

Do you accept returns?

Due to the nature of the digital files, I cannot accept returns on files that have already emailed to you. I aim to create awesome baby shoe and kidswear sewing patterns, but if you have any problems with one of my tutorials or sewing patterns, do not hesitate to contact me. I am here to help you! May I use the sewing patterns for commercial purposes?

Yes! You may use the patterns for a limited run in a homemade business. Please make sure to credit L’enfant Apparel somewhere in your product description.

What sizes are included in your sewing patterns?

All sewing patterns include sizes from newborn up to 14 years, depending on the product. The individual sizes are: 0–3m, 3–6m, 6–9m, 9–12m, 12–18m, 18–24m, 2Y, 3Y, 4Y, 5Y, 6Y, 7Y, 8Y, 10Y, 12Y, and 14Y. Shoe patterns are available up to US size 10, and include: • Newborn–3 months – 4” (10 cm) • 3–6 months – 4¼” (10.8 cm) • 6–9 months – 4½” (11.5 cm) • 9–12 months – 4¾” (12 cm) • 12–18 months – 5” (12.7 cm) • 18–24 months – 5¼” (13.5 cm) • 2–2.25 years – 5½” (14 cm) • 2.25–2.5 years – 5¾” (14.6 cm) • 2.5–3 years – 6¼” (15.8 cm) • 3–3.5 years – 6½” (16.5 cm) Each PDF pattern includes a detailed size chart for accurate measurements.

Are these PDF patterns suitable for beginners?

Yes! Every pattern comes with a step-by-step photo tutorial to help you from start to finish. Seam allowances are already included, so there’s no need to stress about adding them yourself! Please note: The tutorial is not a full sewing course; it specifically guides you through completing the garment. Some basic sewing knowledge is recommended.

How do I open a ZIP file?

To open a ZIP file, you need to “extract” or “unzip” its contents. On most computers, you can right-click the ZIP file and choose “Extract All” (Windows) or double-click and drag the files out (Mac)

What format are the files in?

Each garment sewing pattern includes layered PDF files in A4, US Letter, A0, and projector formats, along with a photo-illustrated tutorial in English. Shoe patterns include PDF files suitable for home printing in A4 and US Letter, with individual sizes separated for easy printing.

Do the patterns include seam allowance?

Yes, all patterns include seam allowance unless otherwise stated in the instructions.

How do I print my digital files?

You can print A4/Letter pages at home or A0 pages at a copy shop or with a projector (not suitable for your home printer!), with each size on a separate layer so you only print the size you need. It is important to check the 1-inch test square on the file before printing the full pattern to make sure the scale is correct. This step is essential to achieve the correct garment or shoe size. If the test square is not accurate, the finished product may turn out too small or too big.
