Original 1987 Avirex Ltd. “Flying Tigers” Type A-2 leather flight jacket in heavily worn vintage condition with exceptional character and strong visual presence.

This jacket was produced during the late-1980s revival of the classic WWII U.S. Army Air Forces A-2 flight jacket and features multiple aviation and war correspondent-themed patches, including:

* AFN Europe
* War Correspondent
* Official U.S. War Photographer

Interior retains the original printed “Flying Tigers / 14th Air Force” lining graphic dated 1987, along with Avirex Type A-2 labels and military-inspired specification tags.

The leather has developed a remarkable naturally aged surface with extensive grain, burnishing, darkened wear patterns, and high-contrast distressing throughout. The overall look is extremely cinematic and wearable in the current vintage leather market.
