Highlights

A sparkling diamond bezel decorates this vintage Movado Museum Swiss movement quartz watch. It is a classic timeless mid century design, which was made later in the 1990s. It was originally designed in 1947 by American modernist artist, Nathan George Horwitt.

This particular piece has not been tested with a new battery and the function is unknown. The watch has a pretty luminous mother of pearl dial with sleek gold hands and a single dot at 12 o'clock representing the sun at high noon. The face is signed "Movado" and marked "Swiss Quartz". The back is marked, "Movado, 1881 Swiss, Stainless Steel back, Water Resistant". The bracelet closure link is also marked as stainless.

The matte silver wrist band has gilded accent links. The watch has an approx. inner circumference of 7 inches when closed. A jeweler or watchmaker should be able to remove links to shorten it, if desired. The styling goes really well with the watch case.

The watch's crystal is intact with no major surface wear. There is no service history on this piece and no guarantee of future performance. It is in overall very good condition as a jewelry piece. Please inspect photos carefully to determine your evaluation of the watch's condition. This item is sold as is.
