The size of the finished toys with the use of recommended materials and 4.0 mm crochet hook ~24 cm (~9.45 inches) in sitting position.
Pay attention that in case of using materials other than listed your toy size will differ from mine.

Recommended materials and tools
1. Plush yarn 100g/120m (#5 Bulky). I use Himalaya Dolphin Baby:
• #80367 (dark grey) – 70 g;
• #80346 (salmon pink) – 45 g;
• #80368 (dark yellow) – 25 g;
• #80301 (white) – 7 g;
• #80394 (charcoal grey) – 27 g.
2. Black & white color semi-cotton yarn for embroidery and salmon pink color for tightening. I use YarnArt Jeans (50g/160 m) #53 (black), #62 (white), #78 (salmon pink).
3. 4.0 mm crochet hook (US size G/6) - main.
4. 3.0 mm or 3.5 mm crochet hook (US size D/3 or E/4) for legs & beak crocheting.
5. Filling (holofiber or fiberfill for stuffing).
6. 20 mm safety eyes.
7. Yarn needle, pins, stitch marker and scissors.

Well written pattern with plenty of photos. The result is cute, so much so my child kept stealing it until I made another one. You’ll want to make so many of these!
