MATERIAL AND CONSTRUCTION

Material: Natural jute rope

Production method: The rope sections are shaped and joined together by stitching to create one continuous decorative scratching mat.

Both sides have the same finished rope appearance, so the mat can be positioned in the direction that works best for your space.

Jute is a natural plant-based fiber. Minor differences in tone, texture, thickness and visible fibers are normal characteristics of the material rather than manufacturing defects.

A mild natural jute scent may be noticeable when the package is first opened. This is not added fragrance and generally becomes less noticeable after the product is aired in a well-ventilated area.

WALL-MOUNTED USE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

The mat can be secured to the wall with screws placed carefully through suitable gaps between the sewn rope sections.

Mounting hardware is not included.

Walls differ in structure, so the correct screws, anchors and installation method depend on whether your surface is concrete, brick, wood, plasterboard or another material. Please use hardware appropriate for your wall and the product’s intended use.

For safe installation:

• Choose a stable wall surface
• Use secure screws and suitable wall anchors
• Attach the mat at multiple points
• Check that the product does not move or pull away from the wall
• Test the installation firmly before allowing your cat to use it
• Inspect the mounting points regularly

Do not rely on decorative hooks or light-duty adhesive strips unless their manufacturer specifically confirms that they are suitable for your wall, the product’s weight and the additional force created while a cat scratches.

This product is a scratching surface. It is not designed to be used as a cat shelf, climbing platform, hammock or weight-bearing structure.

FLOOR USE

The scratcher can also be placed directly on the floor as a flexible scratching mat.

For floor use, place it on a clean, dry and stable surface. Depending on the flooring material and the cat’s scratching style, a suitable non-slip layer may be placed underneath to help reduce movement.

The mat does not contain a permanently attached rubber or adhesive backing.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE

SMALL may be suitable for compact pet corners, kittens or homes with limited wall space.

LARGE offers the widest surface and may be more suitable for cats that prefer to stretch upward while scratching or for homes with more than one cat.

• Wipe small marks carefully with a slightly damp, clean cloth
• Avoid harsh chemicals and bleach
• Do not tumble dry
• Do not expose the product to prolonged moisture
• Allow it to air-dry completely before use

Natural fibers may shed slightly during use, particularly when scratched regularly. Trim only clearly loose fibers with scissors. Do not pull on loose rope or stitching.

Inspect the mat and its mounting points regularly. Stop using the product if the stitching becomes seriously damaged, the structure separates or the wall installation becomes loose.
