A gorgeous and very hard-to-find vintage MacKenzie-Childs Orange Marmalade large lidded pot, also known by collectors as an Orange Marmalade Globeular Canister. This striking ceramic piece features the warm, playful early MacKenzie-Childs look: soft orange / peach checks and stripes, hand-applied floral accents, glossy glaze, rich gold-lustre trim, and a bold gold orb finial.
The piece has a wonderfully sculptural stacked form, with rounded “globeular” curves and alternating sections of checks, stripes, florals, and metallic gold banding.
