Up for sale is an incredibly rare, authentic vintage 1960s Scandia House "Sawdust Girl" troll doll. This is the highly collectible 10-inch variant (excluding hair height) featuring a soft rubber molded head, vinyl arms/hands, and a unique sawdust-stuffed plush body.
ITEM DETAILS:
• Brand: Scandia House Enterprises / Ideal Toy Corp.
• Era: Early 1960s
• Size: Approx. 10 inches tall (not including the hair)
• Features: Vibrant pastel pink synthetic hair, beautiful inset blue eyes, detailed molded vinyl hands, and a sawdust-filled cloth body.
Scandia House enterprise is on back of neck.
Missing white tag missing that my other white haired one has. Not sure if it originally had a tag or not.
CONDITION NOTES (Honest Vintage):
This doll is structurally excellent and holds its shape wonderfully. The vinyl face and hands are clean with very nice color retention. The pink hair remains soft and full.
No bad odors, no open seams, and no structural leakage of the sawdust filling. This is a spectacular, hard-to-find piece of mid-century toy history.
