This is an showy fascinator featuring a halo of black iridescent coque feathers, which sway gracefully in a gentle breeze.

Black sinamay bias ribbon loops and a rose pink sinamay flower also embellish this fascinator. The center of the flower features light pink freshwater pearls.

Two black sinamay rounds form the base for this hat. They form a flare (looks a bit like parted lips) on one side. The fascinator can be positioned on either side of the head. It will have a slightly different look depending on where it's placed.

I attached a comb (sewn, not glued). The black comb features a black ribbon-wrapped spine. The ribbon is 100% silk with a satin finish on both sides. The comb is usually all that is needed to hold a lightweight fascinator in place. However, for extra security, make a couple of pin curls in your hair where the comb will go, and slide the teeth of the comb under the pin curls.
