An exceptionally well-preserved modular sofa set manufactured in Germany during the 1970s.
The set consists of four generously padded seating modules with detachable armrests, allowing the elements to be arranged in several different configurations: as one large four-seat sofa, as a three-seat sofa with a separate armchair, or as two matching two-seat sofas.
Upholstered in its original green corduroy fabric, the set has a wonderfully soft and inviting appearance. The rich avocado-green colour, deep button-tufted seats and backrests, rounded armrests and low-profile silhouette are characteristic of the relaxed, playful interior design of the 1970s.
Each module rests on small chrome-plated castors, making the individual elements easy to move and rearrange. The castors are remarkably well preserved and show very few of the scratches and signs of wear usually found on comparable vintage seating.
The sofa set is particularly notable for its exceptional original condition. The corduroy upholstery appears to have been very lightly used and remains fresh, clean and vibrant, with a consistent colour and a well-defined ribbed texture. The padding has retained its shape and provides comfortable, supportive seating.
A highly versatile and visually distinctive vintage set, equally suitable for a large living room, loft interior, lounge area, studio or hospitality space.

CONDITION REPORT
Excellent original vintage condition, with only minimal signs of age and use.
The original green corduroy upholstery is exceptionally well preserved. The fabric remains clean, vibrant and soft, with a clearly defined ribbed texture and no significant stains, tears or visible areas of heavy wear. Minor variations in tone may be visible depending on the direction of the corduroy pile and the lighting.
The padding has retained its shape very well. The tufting, seams and upholstered buttons remain intact.
The chrome-plated castors are also unusually well preserved, with only very light age-related traces of use and without the pronounced scratching or wear commonly found on comparable vintage seating.
