Green Morimura Mark in Use 1911 - 1921

-Antique Nippon three footed bowl / dish
-Inside edge has a light yellow border near the base
-Measures 6.25 inches in diameter, 2 inches tall (15.87cm, 5.08 cm)
-Hand painted pink and blue flowers with green leaves or foliage
-With raised gold (gilt) flower and foliage outlines
-Raised gold beading stripes near the inside edge and just below the outside rim
-Gilt detailing on the three feet
-Marked on reverse with green Morimura "M" inside a wreath crowned with "Hand Painted" and "Nippon" below
-Mark dates back to 1911 - 1921!
-Design, delicate use of pastel colors contrasted with gilt, and shape of bowl make this piece precious
-Antique bowl / dish is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, repair, or wear.
-There is one fleabite in the glaze on the rim that is not really noticeable until you feel it with your finger and then look closely at the spot
-A small errant mark in gilt on the outside rim
-Nothing detracts from the item's beauty or durability
-A multitude of uses: perfect for candy, serving dish, bowl, vanity, trinket
