If you are a collector of Spider-man comics and do not have this in your collection, wRareell, I'm happy you're here, because this issue is essential.
The first storyline of Todd McFarlane's Spider-man series, these that collect the story Torment are a definite precursor to McFarlane's next project, Spawn. Granted this is not considered the strongest spider-man storyline, it is definitely considered one of the darkest and most bloody.
Story aside, the covers are iconic and have been replicated time and time again by other artists. I honestly can't stress how much I love having this issue in my personal collection (I can say that about almost everything in my collection, but I'm a big Spider-man guy and this came out when I was about to enter my teens, so it has a ton of nostalgia going for it)
