Forget feeble minded princesses that need rescuing! When a dragon destroys her castle and makes off with the prince she is to marry, does Princess Elizabeth cower? She does not! Off she goes, clad in a paper bag (since the dragon scorched her gown) to defeat the dragon and rescue her boyfriend. Using his vanity against him, she outwits the dragon and rescues Prince Ronald, but the ungrateful wretch criticizes her appearance. Undaunted, Princess Elizabeth calls him a bum and goes off by herself, to live happily ever after NOT married to the not-so-Prince Charming. A delightful story loaded with girl power and positive female role modelling.
This is a 2004 paperback. Pages show mild reading wear, binding solid. Faint dogear in lower corner of first few pages. Handwritten page numbers at bottom of pages. School stamps present. Scuffing to cover edges. Small creases along spine on cover, dogear crease in lower corner of front cover. A study copy with years of enjoyment left in it. Book will be shipped between cardboard to prevent damage in the mail.
