Why do the shapes and sizes of leaves vary from clover to clover, and sometimes even within the same clover?

Each clover is found growing naturally. They are like snowflakes - no two are exactly alike. Leaf sizes and shapes vary from clover to clover and sometimes within the same clover. Some have four perfectly symmetrical leaves; some have five or six leaves of all different sizes. The clover charm you see in each listing is the exact clover charm you'll receive when you order, so choose the one-of-a-kind clover you like best.

Why are the Scrabble tiles different colors?

Short answer: Different versions of Scrabble have different colored tiles. Long, much nerdier answer: Here are a few of the different Scrabble eras I've designed with, the corresponding tile colors, and the year they were made. Blue - Deluxe Scrabble 50th Anniversary Edition (1998) Maroon - Scrabble Deluxe Edition (2001) Black - Scrabble Diamond Edition 60 years (2008) or Scrabble Onyx B&N (2006) or Scrabble Luxury Edition PB or C&B (2025) Brown / Natural wood soft edges - early scrabble games, standard boards Brown / Natural wood Sharp edges - newer versions, standard boards For example, when I make a necklace with a blue Scrabble tile, it's totally in its "Deluxe 50th Anniversary Edition" era. Swifties, you're welcome. :)

Do the game pieces come from actual games?

Yes - always. I thrift used games and repurpose them to make tiny tiles. The older and more well-loved, the better! I get to make fun art pieces, and the games stay out of the landfill. A win for me, a win for Mother Earth. I do not use tiles that are made only for crafting - these are often labeled "Scrabble tiles" but are actually Scrabble-inspired, as they were never part of an actual game.

Your shop says you've been open since 2016, but you had no listings. What's up with that?

I originally - and very briefly - opened an Etsy shop in 2016. Life happened. I had less and less time to dedicate to the business, so eventually I made all of my listings inactive. I kept creating tiny tile art, though, because I love doing it and they bring people so much joy. I'm excited for this season to re-imagine what this shop can be. I'm leaning in to a new season of creativity, and am super excited to share it with you!
