To crochet this, you need :

Materials needed:


Stitch and Angel are made with plush yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby. Similar plush yarns such as YarnArt Dolce, Wolans Bunny Baby, Himalaya Velvet, and comparable alternatives may also be used.

**For Stitch:**

1. 1 skein of plush yarn in the main blue color for Stitch’s body, for example Himalaya Dolphin Baby 80329 or another blue shade. You may choose any blue shade, then select a light blue shade for the belly and a dark blue shade for the nose and feet.
2. About 1/4 skein of plush yarn in an additional light blue color for Stitch’s belly and chin, for example Himalaya Dolphin Baby 80327 or another similar shade.
3. A small amount of dark blue plush yarn for Stitch’s nose and feet, for example Himalaya Dolphin Baby 80321. Black may also be used.
4. A small amount of pink plush yarn for Stitch’s ears.
5. A small amount of black yarn for embroidering Stitch’s claws and nostrils.

**For Angel:**

1. 1 skein of plush yarn in the main bright pink color for Angel’s body, for example Himalaya Dolphin Baby 80309 or another shade. You may use any bright pink shade, then choose a light pink shade for the belly and a lilac or other contrasting shade for the nose, feet, and claws.
2. About 1/3 skein of plush yarn in an additional light pink color for Angel’s belly, chin, and ears, for example Himalaya Dolphin Baby 80303 or another similar shade.
3. A small amount of lilac plush yarn for Angel’s nose, feet, and claws, for example Himalaya Dolphin Baby 80356. You may replace it with any shade close to pink or lilac, as long as it differs from the main and additional colors.

**For both Stitch and Angel:**

1. Crochet hook size 4 mm. For Himalaya Velvet, the designer recommends using a hook 0.5–1 mm smaller.
2. Fiberfill stuffing.
3. Long sewing needle for attaching the pieces.
4. Plastic joints or cotter pins, if you use them to attach the arms and legs. The designer uses 20 mm plastic joints for the arms and 25 mm joints for the legs. You may also use 20 mm joints for both arms and legs.

**For the eyes, choose one option:**

1. Felt: white, black, light blue for Stitch, and light pink for Angel. Choose matching sewing thread for each felt color.
2. Thin yarn, for example YarnArt Jeans: white, black, light blue for Stitch, and light pink for Angel, plus a 2 mm hook.
