Beautiful and unusual vintage Egg Coddler by Crown Staffordshire England in an elegant and highly collectible octagonal (eight-sided) design.
Made from fine bone china and featuring beautifully embossed raised floral panels on each side, this is a rare piece of traditional English tableware.
Unlike the more common round egg coddlers, this octagonal shape is much harder to find and highly desirable for collectors of vintage English ceramics.
Produced by Crown Staffordshire, a renowned English porcelain manufacturer established in 1801.
Traditionally used for preparing soft cooked “coddled eggs,” but also perfect as a decorative display piece, collector’s item, or elegant vintage kitchen accessory.
