A beautiful, highly nostalgic survivor of mid-century Disneyana. This authentic vintage early-1960s Minnie Mouse plush doll was produced by the legendary Gund Manufacturing Co. (J. Swedlin, Inc. of Brooklyn, New York). Minnie features a vibrant, hand-painted molded rubber face mask with a joyful open-mouthed expression and her original thin black plastic sheets ears perfectly intact. She comes dressed in her factory-issued black-and-white gingham checkered dress with matching legs, paired with a bright red cotton apron finished with a white mesh tulle ruffled trim. Complete with both original woven manufacturer tags stitched into the rear seam. A marvelous display piece for any antique toy or retro Disney collection!

- Condition: Very good vintage cosmetic condition for its age. The rubber face mask is bright with minimal paint rubs. The plastic ears are straight with no breaks. Note: There is minor structural fabric wear/fraying with small holes on the gingham weave just above the right foot sole line (clearly captured in the close-up detail photo). Clean and odor-free.
