Highlights
Beautiful vintage Yuen Chong WKS mahjong set housed in its original brown leather carrying case with fitted red interior. This substantial set includes 155 tiles, scoring sticks, dice, trays, and accessories.
The tiles feature traditional Chinese characters, bamboo, circles, winds, dragons, flowers, and illustrated bonus tiles. The warm butterscotch-colored tiles and rich red interior create a striking presentation for collectors and players alike.
This is a vintage set with age-related wear. Approximately 31 tiles have cracks between the butterscotch and black visible along the sides, though the tiles remain usable. Some may have previous repair. 1 tile is missing the black backing but it is included and 1 tile is missing the black backing completely. The material is untested; believed to be an early plastic or phenolic resin. The exterior leather closure strap is torn, although the metal clasp itself still functions. The case shows expected wear from age and use, including corner tears. Please review all photos carefully for condition details.
