“The jacket had coarse, uneven suede and rough finishing, unlike the soft, premium finish advertised. The seller accepted a return and refund. I requested a label and instructions, but received no alternative address. I paid for tracked, insured return shipping to the sender on the original parcel—the address a carrier would normally use if delivery failed or the parcel was refused as damaged. Tracking showed delivery on 16 October. The seller acknowledged both labels and did not dispute that status, but withheld the refund because its warehouse could not locate the jacket and the address had not been separately confirmed. After ten seller replies and repeated refund requests, I opened a case. Etsy issued the refund on 27 October. Disappointing quality and extensive follow-up.”
