🖌️ Creation Process

My patterns are hand drawn, using a mix of pixel art, cel shading techniques, and layered textures to create patterns with rich colours and detail. I especially look to clean up single stitches of a given colour, colours which are only used for only a few stitches, or areas which use too many colours within a 10x10 square. Detail and gradients are achieved by arranging stitches into a chess-board pattern, which appear beautifully blended together, without using any blended threads.

The hard pixel lines eliminate the areas that ordinarily are the most difficult to stitch, by eliminating the large amount of confetti typically found in these areas. Meanwhile, the colourwork holds large amounts of detail that can be easily worked without needing to park your threads.
