This is the highly sought-after, original 48mm lens width variant (stamped 48-22 on early paper tags, though the frame remains beautifully clean without modern size stamps). While the standard 50mm and 54mm frames are common, the 48mm size is pure vintage gold. It offers that snug, sharp, authentic 1950s-60s retro profile favored by purists and fits small-to-medium faces perfectly.

This pair comes in a beautiful rich Mock Tortoise Shell acetate frame with the iconic horizontal silver metal diamond rivets on the front and temples, alongside the authentic raised metal "Ray-Ban" script logos on the outer arms.
