Lago Di Como Silk Cotton Scarf Blue

A lightweight cotton and silk scarf designed for ease and softness in everyday wear. Crafted from a 50% silk and 50% organic cotton blend, the fabric has a subtle luminosity while remaining breathable against the skin. The handle is gently crisp — not fluid like traditional silk twill, but softly structured, allowing it to hold its shape with a more relaxed feel.
The design was inspired by Ilona Tambor’s journey to Lake Como in 2024. At the centre of the composition, two golden birds rise above dark, storm-like waters, capturing the dramatic atmosphere of the lake during a sudden storm crossing between Argegno and Bellano. Ornate gates entwined with wisteria frame the scene, while the border draws inspiration from the decorative details of Villa Monastero in Varenna.
Deep navy tones are balanced with warm gold accents and softer blue contrasts, giving the piece an elegant, atmospheric character while allowing intricate details to emerge gradually across the surface.
Light, versatile, and easy to wear, it moves effortlessly between settings — worn at the neck, draped over the shoulders, or styled more freely in warmer seasons.

It is a very pretty light weight cotton and silk scarf made in India. It is a different quality than expected. It photographs beautifully - which highlights a deeper tone in color and perhaps weave variations. I am keeping it.

Our cotton–silk scarves are handmade in India, as mentioned in the product description, while all of our 100% mulberry silk scarves are printed and hand-finished in Como, Italy. The two fabrics naturally have a different feel and finish, so I completely understand that it may have felt different from what you expected.
