1930s Party in Plaid Four Piece Suit | Vintage 30s Deadstock Black White Speckle & Red Windowpane Wool Set Dated 1939! | Size 38 Medium

Play up a powerful presence in this suit dated October 24, 1939! What could be better than a dated three piece suit? How about a four piece! A jacket, waistcoat, and trousers also comes with additional pair of trousers with the tailor's order slip still attached! Amazing enough that we've had a few other deadstock suits through the years, I've never even heard of one including the amazing piece of history of the original tailor's order slip still tacked onto the suit! The wool of the suit is black speckled with white and crimson makes a subtle pinstripe windowpane plaid. The jacket is single breasted with two button closure, notch lapel, two flap pockets, jetted chest pocket, padded shoulders, and one inner pocket in the butterfly lining. The vest has four welted pockets, silk back with buckling adjuster, cotton lining, and a five button front. The trousers both have a flat front, five welted pockets, button fly, and cuffed hems. From “Gentry Clothes" and dated on tailor's tags on all four pieces! This suit is in great vintage condition, with a couple small period mends but no other holes, stains. or odors to note.
