Highlights
One pre-owned painted wooden decorative doll with a Japanese kokeshi-style silhouette. The piece has a natural wood face, a black head section, geometric painted areas, and warm floral decoration.
The seller dates this piece to Japan's Showa period, approximately the 1970s to 1980s. This date is seller-provided and has not been independently authenticated. The base carries a gold label reading "Echigo Murakami" and a maker-style inscription; the exact reading, maker, workshop, place of manufacture, and date are not independently confirmed.
