Manufactured in Limoges, France by U.C. (Union Ceramique) Limoges between 1904 and 1925, featuring "U.C. (Union Ceramique) Limoges” factory backstamp on the underside.

This beautifully reserved Edwardian serving bowl features an elegant bright white hard-paste porcelain body, framed by heavily encrusted gold gilded handles and trim.

Perfect for serving vegetables or serving any dish. It measures 5 1/2" tall to the top of its finial, 12 1/4" from handle to handle by 7 1/2" wide. It holds 1 quart (32 ounces).

Condition:
Excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The porcelain remains beautifully bright white, and the gold gilding is remarkably vibrant with only minimal, age-appropriate wear, such as a couple of minor scratches, and gold fading on the inner rim only. There is no major rubbing. This covered vegetable bowl is about 115 years old.
