FABRIC REQUIREMENTS
The measurements below are based on a fabric width of 137 cm (54 inches) and represent the maximum amount of fabric required. Depending on your fabric layout and whether you choose to add the optional front pocket and keychain loops, you may be able to use less.

* Exterior fabric – 66 cm / 26 inches
* Lining fabric – 30 cm / 12 inches
* Interfacing (full bag) – 35 cm / 14 inches
* Lining pocket interfacing – 25 cm / 10 inches

Fabric Recommendations
This pattern works well with a wide range of woven fabrics.

I recommend medium to heavy-weight fabrics such as cotton, linen, canvas, and other non-stretch fabrics. Stretch fabrics are not suitable for this pattern.

I highly recommend interfacing your exterior fabric to add structure. If you are using a particularly heavy-weight fabric, you may prefer not to interface the exterior. The lining pocket should always be interfaced to help prevent sagging over time. For ease of application, I recommend using iron-on interfacing.

ZIP REQUIREMENTS
Choose zips that are 1 cm / 3/8 inch wide.
