St Chad's Cross, etched in stainless steel with a chain | St Chad of Lichfield | St Bertram | Anglo-Saxon | Early English Saint

This is a unique piece of devotional design, recreated in stainless steel, which won't tarnish. I designed this myself, so you won't find it elsewhere.

About the cross:
- 27mm in height (including bail)
- This cross is a medieval heraldic cross named after St Chad of Mercia, the bishop of Lichfield. It bears his image on the one side, and that of another Midland saint – St Bertram of Ilam in Dovedale – on the other. Also referred to as St Beorhthelm of Stafford, St Bertram was a Mercian prince who became a hermit at the edge of the Peak District, where two holy wells are named after him.

This cross comes with your choice of stainless steel chain:
- either the dog-tag style bead chain (60cm),
- or a trace chain (60cm).

(50cm and 70cm trace chains may also be available. Message me to check availability.)

Postage and packing:
- For international orders, I use International Standard postage and get proof of postage certificates from Royal Mail.
- Speed: for North America and Australia, the average postage time is 2 WEEKS (i.e. 10 working days). Postage to the EU is often around 2 weeks (due to customs checks on entry).
- Due to increasingly poor performance by the USPS, as of the 16th of April, all items to the US are now sent with tracking as standard. This is integrated into the price for your convenience.
