FAQ
How is a student's average calculated?
Each grade is converted to a percentage (score ÷ max score), and the student's average is the mean of every percentage logged for them across all subjects and assignments.
Can I use this for multiple classes?
This version tracks one class at a time. For multiple classes, download a backup of one class before starting a fresh one, or keep separate copies of the file per class.
Does this work on Mac and Windows?
Yes. It's a single HTML file that opens in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) on Mac, Windows, iPad, Android, or Chromebook. No installation required.
Is my data private?
Yes — everything is stored only in your browser's local storage on your own device. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. Please also check your school's data policy before logging pupil information in any personal tool.
How does the Report Prompt bank work?
Type a student's name once, and every prompt updates automatically with that name inserted. Click Copy on any prompt to copy it straight to your clipboard for pasting into your report software.
