### 🧵 HOW TO STITCH THIS FREE STANDING LACE DESIGN

Free Standing Lace designs are stitched entirely on **water-soluble stabilizer** — no fabric is required for the lace portions!

**Steps to Run This FSL Design:**
1. Hoop **1-2 layers of water-soluble stabilizer** (heavy or medium weight recommended) tightly in your embroidery hoop.
2. Load the correct file format for your machine brand.
3. Stitch the design directly onto the stabilizer, following your machine's color-change prompts for thread changes (white, orange, black).
4. Once stitching is complete, trim away excess stabilizer close to the design edges.
5. **Rinse the finished piece in warm water** to fully dissolve the stabilizer, then lay flat or gently reshape while damp.
6. Allow to air dry completely — your Free Standing Lace Ghost ornament or earring base is ready to embellish, hang, or attach to jewelry findings!

**💡 Recommended Supplies:**
- Water-soluble stabilizer (2-3 layers for larger sizes)
- Embroidery machine (home or commercial)
- Matching thread colors: white, orange, black
- Jewelry findings (jump rings, earring hooks) for the Earrings/Ornament versions
