First light, made to be asked with. A round brilliant lab-created morganite — champagne warmed with blush — rises in four claw prongs above a slim band lined with white cubic zirconia pavé, so the stone stands on a path of small lights. The color shifts with the hour: pale pink by daylight, warm champagne by lamplight.

From The Otherworld series — Duskgild's light register. The gold is a finish and the silver underneath is real: every Seraphine is cast in solid 925 sterling silver, then gilded in 18k rose gold, the warm metal returning the blush of the stone.
