The hour when light stands highest. A round brilliant lab-created white sapphire rises at the center in four claw prongs, and the light continues from there — a run of round accent stones down each shoulder, bright hours marching away from noon.

From The Otherworld series — Duskgild's light register. The gold is a finish and the silver underneath is real: every Meridian is cast in solid 925 sterling silver, then gilded in 18k gold. Claw-set from center to shoulder — made for a proposal, an anniversary, or no occasion at all.
