Frog Quilt Pattern, Frog Wall Hanging Quilt Pattern PDF, Easy Applique Quilt for Beginners, Raw Edge Fusible Applique

🌸 Welcome to WildbloomQuilts - bold, colourful folk-art quilt patterns for makers who love vivid, joyful projects. 🌸

⚠️ TECHNIQUE - PLEASE READ FIRST: RAW-EDGE FUSIBLE APPLIQUE
This is a raw-edge fusible applique pattern. The templates print at FINISHED SIZE with NO seam allowance and NO dashed turn-under lines, and they come as numbered full-size layout sheets - not as separate cut-out pieces. You trace each shape onto paper-backed fusible web, iron it to your fabric, cut on the drawn line, peel, press it in place, and stitch over the raw edge with a blanket or narrow zigzag stitch. Paper-backed fusible web is required. This is NOT a turned-edge / needle-turn pattern, and there are no dotted seam-allowance lines to turn under.

A cheerful tree frog perches proudly atop a bold, oversized leaf at the heart of this vibrant folk-art design, his bright green body and vivid orange feet popping dramatically against a deep black background. His wide golden eyes and cream-coloured belly give him an irresistible charm, while the layered shapes of his form make every fabric choice a delight to piece together.

Framing the frog is a swooping garland of brown branches and rounded green leaves, dotted with an array of folk-style blooms in red, yellow, blue, and cream — each flower a simple, satisfying shape to cut and fuse. The overall composition has the warmth and whimsy of traditional folk embroidery translated into bold, raw-edge applique, making it a joyful project for quilters who love colour, character, and a little bit of nature magic on their walls.

Every pattern in this shop is my own work, from the first line to the last page. I draw each design by hand as an original vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator, then develop it into a ready-to-sew applique pattern - every cutting line, every fabric colour, every template page and instruction. Each one takes time and a lot of care, and I hope that comes through when you stitch it.
