Highlights
Lot of 8 vintage color photographs, 3.5x5 inches, documenting a tour boat excursion likely through Pearl Harbor, Oahu, Hawaii. Views taken from beneath the boat's covered deck show silhouetted passengers looking out over the harbor at naval vessels, dockside cranes, industrial buildings, and control towers, with mountains visible in several backgrounds consistent with Oahu. Notable images include a silhouetted U.S. Navy warship (possibly a frigate or destroyer) with a partially visible hull number '24', a large gray Navy amphibious/landing ship dockside, and a distant submarine near a tall tower structure suggesting the Pearl Harbor Naval Submarine Base. One photo shows tourists on deck including a man in a uniform-style shirt.
