The outlined shapes are real buildings, traced across exactly 1 km; the street grid runs through in thin grey lines. Colour inside the shapes however you like — pencils, fine-liners, or paint.

Each map also includes a coloured reference page at the end — one way it could look. The map itself prints as clean outlines for you to colour.
Print at 100% (actual size) — turn off 'fit to page' or 'shrink to fit'. Any paper works; 120gsm or heavier takes pencil and fine-liner best.
