Lot of 6 vintage color photographs, 6x4 prints, documenting a NATO Stabilization Force (SFOR) compound in Bosnia and Herzegovina, dated by a 07/99 handwritten marking on the back of a related print in the set (July 1999). Photos show the yellow Austro-Hungarian-era spa hotel buildings at the Ilidža complex near Sarajevo, signed 'SRBIJA' and 'HERCEGOVINA,' with UK and Italian flags, manicured gardens, soldiers, and parked vehicles. One standout photo shows a modern entrance clearly signed 'HEADQUARTERS PEACE STABILIZATION FORCE (SFOR)' with camouflaged soldiers and an SUV – a confirmed, strongly identifiable image. Another photo, likely from the Mostar area, shows a war-damaged building with a red-tile roof, a parked black Mitsubishi Pajero (plate 'JVB 2'), and a fire truck, offering a striking contrast of postwar reconstruction. All images are in color with consistent period saturation; minor fading and slight color shift are present on a few prints, typical of the era. No creases or major damage noted; please review photos for exact condition. Associated with the estate of USAF Col. Patricia Jane Harrington, likely taken during a NATO/SFOR peacekeeping deployment to Bosnia.
