The eucalyptus leaves used for this eco print were left outdoors, quietly weathered by wind and several summer rains. One rainy day, I noticed their soft, rain-soaked colors and felt they would have one more story to tell. It was a story about a lotus pond after the rain.

Do you know that pink cherry blossom petals can create a soft gray-green color on silk? It was exactly the background color I needed. On luminous mulberry silk satin, these gentle tones shimmer like light dancing across the surface of a quiet lake.

Because the eucalyptus had been softened by time and rain, its prints no longer appeared vivid or bold. Instead, they revealed delicate touches of muted orange and warm rust, floating gently among soft greens and silvery greys.

Together, these colors tell the story of a tranquil lotus pond after rainfall—mist rising above the water, lotus leaves resting quietly, and reflections dissolving into the gentle light.
