1) Clean the sewing machine surface where the decal will be installed and allow it to dry completely.

2) Peel the backing from the decal.

3) Align the 0 mark with the location of the sewing machine needle. Many sewing machines already have a center guide line molded into the machine bed in front of the needle that can be used to help position the decal.

4) Starting at the top edge, slowly and evenly press the decal down toward the bottom while smoothing it with your fingertips. This helps prevent air bubbles and ensures the decal lays flat.

5) If any small air bubbles become trapped, gently work them toward the nearest edge with your fingertips until they disappear.
