GARAGE COMMAND — OFFLINE GARAGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Garage Command is a digital download containing an offline HTML application for day-to-day work in an independent garage or auto repair shop. It brings customer and vehicle records, appointments, repair orders, estimates, invoices, parts stock and business tracking into one local tool. It is a one-time purchase with no subscription, account or cloud service required.

It is designed for independent mechanics, small automotive workshops, mobile mechanics, motorcycle garages, detailing businesses and fleet maintenance teams that want to organise their records on a desktop or laptop. You can follow a job from booking and estimate through parts, labour, invoice and payment record, then review activity on the dashboard. It replaces neither your payment processor nor any specialist diagnostic or accounting system.

WHAT YOU CAN MANAGE

• Dashboard and reports: today's appointments, open and completed jobs, approval and parts delays, unpaid invoices, low stock, sales, parts costs, labour revenue and activity summaries.
• Customers and vehicles: contact details and balances; individual, fleet, dealership or insurance customers; vehicle make, model, year, registration, mileage and warranty information. Search records and use the available CSV export tools.
• Appointments and repair orders: date, service, vehicle, assigned mechanic, priority and status. Track parts and labour totals, including work waiting for approval or parts.
• Diagnostics and services: keep diagnostic notes, OBD codes, root causes and charges; maintain a service catalogue with labour hours, rates, categories and prices. The app records diagnostic information; it does not connect to a vehicle or diagnostic device.
• Parts and suppliers: part numbers, quantities, cost and selling prices, markup, low-stock alerts, stock adjustments and transaction history, plus suppliers and purchase orders with dates, totals and status.
• Estimates, invoices and payment records: track estimates and approvals, invoice balances, deposits, partial or final payments, dates and payment methods. Recording a card payment does not charge a card.
• Mechanics, expenses and follow-up: roles, assigned jobs, billed hours and labour totals; business expenses and recurring expense records; warranties, maintenance reminders and tasks.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE AND HOW IT WORKS

You receive one downloadable ZIP file containing the Garage Command HTML application. Download it from your Etsy Purchases page in a web browser, unzip the folder, then open the extracted HTML file in a compatible modern browser. You can load demonstration data to explore the workflow or clear it and add your own records. Keep the original download and make regular backups using the application's backup and export tools. No physical item is posted.

Your records are stored locally in the browser on your device. There is no cloud account or automatic synchronisation between devices or browsers. Clearing browser data or local storage can remove records, so back up before clearing it and avoid private or incognito browsing for ongoing work. The app is intended for one person using a local copy; it is not designed for simultaneous multi-user operation.

COMPATIBILITY AND IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS

A Windows or Mac desktop or laptop with a compatible modern browser, such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, is recommended for the full workflow. This is an HTML application, not an Excel or Google Sheets template, a PDF, a native Windows/macOS program or a mobile app-store download. No specialist installation or subscription is required.

iPhone and iPad use may require a compatible HTML viewer. Apple's Files app or Safari may not run a locally downloaded HTML app as expected, and functionality and local storage can vary by device and viewer. Please plan to use a desktop or laptop for important records.

Garage Command does not automatically connect to external garage, vehicle, diagnostic, banking or accounting systems. It does not process card payments or automatically send SMS or email to customers. Its financial records and reports are organisational tools, not a claim of accounting or tax compliance.
