Vintage & Antique Items

AllThingsRetroStore specialises in carefully selected vintage and antique pieces, each with its own history and character.

Signs of age, natural patina and previous use are part of the appeal of vintage items. We make every effort to describe condition accurately and provide clear, detailed photographs.

Please read the full description and examine all photographs before purchasing. If you have any questions, we are always happy to help.

Shipping & Delivery

All orders are carefully packaged and shipped using established postal and delivery services.

Buyers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, monitoring tracking information and making the necessary arrangements to receive their parcels.

If delivery is unsuccessful, buyers are responsible for contacting their local carrier promptly to arrange redelivery or collection.

Parcels returned because of incorrect address information, failure to collect or refusal of delivery may incur additional shipping and handling charges.

Any additional costs resulting from circumstances within the buyer's control may be deducted from an eligible refund.

Customs Duties & Import Charges

International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import VAT, clearance fees and local taxes not already collected at checkout or included in the shipping service.

These charges are determined by the destination country's authorities and are outside our control.

Buyers must pay any required import charges promptly to avoid delivery delays or returned parcels.

Refusal or failure to pay customs charges does not automatically entitle the buyer to a full refund.

If a parcel is refused or returned because import charges remain unpaid, any refund will be assessed once the item has been returned and inspected.

Original shipping costs, return postage and additional carrier fees may be deducted where permitted.

Damage During Shipping

We take great care when packaging our vintage and antique items, particularly fragile and valuable pieces.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery.

To help us investigate, please provide:

Clear photographs of the damaged item

Photographs of the external packaging

Photographs of the internal protective materials

A brief description of the damage

Please retain the item and all original packaging until the matter has been resolved. The shipping company may require photographs or an inspection.

Damage reported significantly after delivery may require additional information to establish when and how the damage occurred.

We review all damage reports individually and work towards a fair resolution.

Returns & Refunds

We accept eligible change-of-mind returns when requested within 14 days of delivery.

Buyers must contact us within this period to request a return and return the item within 14 days of notifying us.

Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility for change-of-mind returns.

Items must be securely packaged and returned in the condition received. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service.

Please contact us before returning an item so that we can provide the correct return instructions.

Refunds will be processed following receipt and inspection of the returned item, subject to applicable refund requirements.

For eligible cancellations, the original standard delivery charge will also be refunded where required.

Items arriving damaged, defective or materially different from their description are handled separately from change-of-mind returns.

Lost, Delayed & Uncollected Parcels

Buyers are responsible for monitoring shipment tracking and responding promptly to delivery or collection notifications.

If a parcel is held at a collection point, buyers must arrange collection within the carrier's specified holding period.

Failure to collect a parcel may result in its return to sender and additional shipping charges.

If a shipment is delayed or missing, please contact us so that we can investigate with the relevant postal service.

Where a parcel is returned because of failure to collect, refusal of delivery or incorrect address information, any refund will be assessed individually, taking account of the circumstances and costs incurred.

Order Cancellations

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.

Orders that have already been dispatched cannot normally be stopped or recalled. Eligible cancellation and return requests will be handled under our returns policy.
