Custom Leather Patch. Add your logo, text or artwork to a custom patch. Make your company stand out with your business logo or image engraved into our high quality leather patch and add it to anything you desire such as a hat, backpack, bag, clothing, etc.

Our leather is custom made in Amish Country here in Ohio. We then prepare the leather based on your specifications and then engrave and cut your desired patches. These are 100% American Made Patches.

~ Add your logo on our high quality 100% genuine full grain vegetable tanned leather patch. These are real leather. If you are interested in additional colors see our leatherette patches.

~ Leather Patch Colors: Apricot, Caramel, Brown, Emerald, Tan

~ Keep the back of the patch natural/unbacked or choose to add an heat activated adhesive (for heat pressing) backing or add hole for stitching

~ All patches are coated in a water-resistant top finish unless requested otherwise.

~ 4-5 oz full grain vegetable tanned leather.

All items are shipped USPS first class unless otherwise requested. Delivery times are approximate based on Etsy's estimate of such times. If you require a specific delivery date, please make sure you choose an upgraded shipping method. We can not control the delivery times of USPS. All times are estimates. USPS delivery times during holiday rush will absolutely be slower than normal. Thank you for your understanding.


HOW TO ORDER

1. Select patch shape and size from drop down menu. (If your patch doesn't meet our listed patch size options please reach out and we can make custom size patches). *Custom shape patch size will be contour cut out to match the widest or tallest dimension of your design.

***Custom Patch Only - Select size based on Length + Width divided by 2**** Example - Your design is 3 inches wide and 2 inches tall - 3 + 2 = 5 / 2 = 2.5. You would select 2.01-2.5”.

2. Select patch backing from drop down menu

3. Select the leather color you would like in the personalization section

4. Select the border line style around your patch - please specify - No Line, Black Line or Faux Stitched Line.

5. Upload or Send us a message including your logo file via. Etsy conversation or enter the text you would like along with your font choice in the personalization section

6. Logos and Files can be sent directly to: dale [!at] originaltshirtdesign.com

7. If sending us a logo a proof of your patch will be sent for your approval before we make it. Please allow for 1-3 business days to receive. For orders with personalized text we do not provide proofs unless requested. (LIMIT OF 3 PROOFS PER ORDER)

***PLEASE NOTE*** Your logo file needs to be in black and white/transparent with no shading png, jpg, pdf, or vector format. The text and images you want engraved should be black and the background white/transparent. These are laser engraved leather patches and full color logos are not possible. Photos of patches or logos are not considered an electronic file in the correct format.

If you choose to send us a photo file, then you must also choose the Art Charge to have the photo converted from the photo format into a useable file for engraving. If your logo file does not meet our quality standards we will reach out to you for an alternative file of higher quality. We do offer custom logo design work for an additional fee.

Due to the nature of this product natural imperfections in the leather is normal.

If we do not hear back after sending a mock up within 48 hours, production will automatically be approved and begin.

~ Sew Application: These can be applied by stitching with machine or by hand if choosing to add stitching holes added, with glue/leather cement or you can choose to get them with an adhesive backing and press them on using a heat press. The typical hole size will fit a #2 or #3 sewing needle. If you would like this to fit a #1 or larger needle, please let us know so that we can increase the size of the sewing holes.

- Heat Applied Adhesive: The adhesive we apply to our leather patches is very strong and will create a permanent bond. This requires both heat and pressure for proper adhesion. Remove the carrier paper and apply with a heat press at a temperature of 280° F with medium pressure for approx. 30-50 sec depending on the material thickness you are applying the patch to. For applying to flat surfaces, such as jackets or bags, you can get good adhesion with an iron from the back of the item with strong pressure. Full adhesiveness will be achieved after 48 hours!
*Please note: We are not responsible for damages caused to your patches or garments/items during application. Our instructions are a general guideline and testing should be done on your personal equipment to find the best method of application for your project.

Patch Care: Leather Patches should not be cleaned unless necessary. Use a soft brush or sponge with minimal to no water and little pressure. Not recommended for use in a washing machine. Do not dry clean.
