💚 The Story Behind the Design
Inspired by the beautiful structure of animal nests 🪶🐿️🍂, Forest Nest is one of my most composition-focused designs.

Different eucalyptus leaves and botanical elements were carefully arranged by hand to create a circular composition, inspired by the quiet balance and shelter found in nature. Rather than depicting a nest itself, I wanted to capture the feeling of discovering one hidden deep in the forest.

The warm bronze background was a wonderful surprise.

The dye bath had been exposed to air and reused many times, leaving fewer tannins than usual. Instead of becoming darker, it developed a luminous golden-bronze tone that not only beautifully complements the reddish-brown eucalyptus leaves and soft yellow-green botanical details, but also has a wonderful way of flattering many different skin tones. Together, they create a timeless palette with a quiet elegance that reminds me of antique textiles.

Printed on lustrous mulberry silk satin, the natural colors become even richer as they catch the light, giving the scarf a refined and luxurious feel.

Designed as wearable textile art, Forest Nest can be enjoyed as a silk scarf or professionally framed as botanical wall art, bringing warmth and natural beauty into your home.

Because this unique background color came from the natural evolution of a well-loved dye bath, it cannot be recreated in exactly the same way. Forest Nest is truly a one-of-a-kind piece.


❤️ Care
Gently hand wash separately in cool water with pH-neutral detergent. Please do not soak or bleach. Dry in the shade and iron on a silk setting if needed.

Each scarf is carefully wrapped in a handmade botanical eco-printed cotton bag.

A small botanical eco-printed card is also included. You can write your own message on it when giving the scarf as a gift, or you can simply keep it as a botanical bookmark.
