The Story Behind This Shirt

I created this shirt after discovering that Jimothy—the unusually shaped, short-spined raccoon—had become an internet favorite with a surprisingly enthusiastic following.

Rather than make another simple raccoon portrait, I wanted to approach the idea like Jimothy already had an established fan organization. The result is a vintage-style club design featuring an official short-spined raccoon seal, a distinctive Jimothy silhouette, bold “Fan Club” lettering, and a “Lifetime Member” banner.

The cream-colored distressed artwork gives it the appearance of an old membership shirt that Jimothy supporters might have been wearing for years—even though most of us only recently learned he existed.
