Highlights

  • Party decor for gatherings and celebrations
  • Digital download
  • Digital file type(s): 1 ZIP

An Uber and Lyft driver tax tracker built to capture all four parts of a rideshare workday, not
just the miles with a passenger in the car. The mileage log gives you separate fields for:
• Miles to your first pickup
• On-trip miles
• Miles driven between rides, also called deadhead miles
• Miles driven home

Those four fields calculate total business miles and the mileage deduction automatically. The
workbook also tracks surge or boost earnings, airport-queue wait time, and Uber-versus-Lyft results
side by side. These are real fields and formulas in the included Excel and Google Sheets-ready
workbook, not marketing mockups.

What you get:
• 1 Excel workbook (.xlsx) with 8 tabs: Instructions, Dashboard, Income Log, Mileage Log,
Expenses, Quarterly Tax Center, AI Assistant, and Settings
• Uber-versus-Lyft dashboard comparison for income, surge or boost, hours, hourly earnings, and
airport-queue minutes
• Income log for app, base fare, tips, surge or boost, airport-queue minutes, trips, and hours
online
• Four-part mileage log for first-pickup, on-trip, between-ride, and home miles
• Passenger-specific expense categories including car detailing, rider amenities, water or mints,
car washes, tolls, parking, phone or data, and other non-vehicle costs
• Dashboard with YTD income, net earnings, total business miles, mileage deduction, expenses,
taxable-profit estimate, tax set-aside, true hourly earnings, next deadline, and charts
• AI Assistant tab with six copy-paste prompts that auto-fill with your own workbook numbers,
including Uber-versus-Lyft performance, surge earnings, airport wait, and deadhead-mile context
• 2026 IRS business mileage rate stored in one Settings cell with its dated IRS newsroom source
• Four 2026 estimated-tax deadlines
• Adjustable tax set-aside percentage and quarterly estimates
• Real sample data on every log
• Protected formula cells; unprotect anytime with no password
• 1 visual quick-start guide in 300 DPI PNG and one-page PDF formats

How it works:

1. Download the zip and open the .xlsx in Excel, or import it into Google Sheets.
2. Clear the sample input cells and enter your own shifts, miles, and non-vehicle expenses.
3. Your totals, charts, comparison, mileage deduction, taxable-profit estimate, deadlines, and
set-aside estimate update automatically.
4. When you want a second look at your records, copy a prompt from the AI Assistant tab into your
preferred chatbot.

Important mileage-method note: Use either the standard mileage deduction or actual car costs
such as gas, repairs, and depreciation, not both. This tracker's tax estimate uses income minus
non-vehicle expenses minus the mileage deduction, so it does not double-count vehicle costs.

AI Assistant privacy: The prompts run only after you copy and paste them into a chatbot such as
ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. The spreadsheet does not connect to an AI service, and no workbook data
is sent to us. A chatbot account or its normal usage limits may apply. Each prompt asks for patterns,
questions, and records to review; it does not state a tax or financial conclusion.

Who it is for: Uber and Lyft drivers who want one self-serve place to track shifts, passenger
income, deadhead miles, airport wait, expenses, and quarterly tax-planning figures.

Honest limits: This is a ready-made digital template delivered as an instant download. No
physical product ships. It is not customized or personalized. It does not connect to Uber, Lyft,
your bank, GPS, or an airport queue; import trips automatically; verify whether a mile or expense
qualifies; file taxes; calculate a personalized tax liability; or replace contemporaneous mileage
records and receipts. It is not tax, legal, or financial advice. Tax rules and eligibility depend
on your situation; confirm filing decisions with current IRS instructions or a qualified tax
professional. Uber and Lyft are trademarks of their respective owners; this independent product
is not affiliated with or endorsed by either company. Because it is a digital file, no refunds once
downloaded, per shop policy.
